Social networking is the showcase for sale identities, identities are a global market brand, and a brand is advertised, sells.

The literature has proposed since its origin role models and exemplary, mythical identities, mirror to reflect, to rethink, to correct ourselves. Classical literature is in the unemployment line about to end the subsidy. The 21th-century person is narcissistic and prefers to be reflected on television reality shows rather than seeking him/herself in reading.

Narcissism as the pathology of identities in the universal showcase, the computer mirror that blinds and absorbs, the exaltation of physical beauty, the eternally young, voices and echoes that indoctrinate us, confuse us in the entertainment culture.

Politicians, artists and other residents of the television are the consummate narcissism paradigm, sometimes until death itself for looking so much at their reflection.

An update of the myth of Narcissus, the myth of our generation that grows a hump from too much navel-gazing
