Africa screams

Conference run by Augusto Yyanga

Africa screams.

Conference run by Augusto Yyanga, Professor of History of Education.

Presented by Consuelo Cerdá Marín, Catholic University Sant Vicent Màrtir.

Free entry, limited capacity.

Africa screams, because it suffers; Africa screams because it complains of the evils; Africa screams, because it is exploited; Africa screams, because wants to be heard; Africa screams, because screams for help...

The scream of Africa can be studied from different perspectives, in which can be gathered its problems in our time.

Africa in the context of the zones with countries designated as subdeveloped, entails the characteristics of the subdevelopment and its functioning.

In the new world order and globalisation, Africa comes up weak as it has barely made a start in a modern world and, on the other hand, by the decay of the prominence of the Third World countries and their movements, projects and considerations.

In order to resolve its problems, Africa looks towards the future with optimism, confident on its people and its natural riches, and in International Cooperation South-South and North-South.
