The seminar can be validated for 2 credits, two weekly sessions from 17:00 to 19:30h, since 3 to 26 November (Tuesday and Thursday). Registration open.
This seminar, which aims to analyse in depth the topics of the art, the ritual and the sacred, is of great academic interest given its universal character –it is included in all the societies, since prehistoric times until today, and is part of our construction as human beings– and by the fact of being connected with a big part of the disciplines of thinking. Despite that, in principle, we will focus in this topic by following an artistic, cultural and social vector, we will not leave aside the scientific, philosophical or religious viewpoint. We consider that this seminar of university extension would offer a complementary and multidisciplinary vision of an issue of great importance, which is dealt with tangentially in different matters of different degrees –History of Art, Anthropology, Fine Arts– without getting a global perspective.
