Life of Brian
The association Ambit in collaboration with the Department of Social Work and Social Services and the Faculty of Social Sciences invite us to establish a dialogue around a film suggested and presented by people who have suffered extreme experiences such as having been imprisoned and the loneliness it represents mental illness. We think this meeting may be serve university students to recognise others outside the area of professional intervention, and to people with mental illness diagnoses in order to find a place of symbolic recognition, the UV and some patients to whom they wouldn’t have access as experts. Film in the borders of two worlds in principle alien and distant, coming as to the emotions that arise from the films proposed by each of the participants in the experience. From the Faculty of CC.SS, we present the film series and we may watch: Life of Brian with a subsequent colloquium.
