Concert of Mox at the Teatre Micalet

Following the line opened with ‘Palifonies’ (Autoedició, 2013), Mox presents their new album ‘Tuactes i rebomboris’ (Mésdemil, 2015), since the world we live in is full of ‘tuactes’ (‘serious issues’) and ‘remombori’ (‘noise’) and that is exactly what Mox talks about in the lyrics of their songs in this new album, from a personal point of view. The album has eight original songs inspired in different popular and traditional music styles, rooted in our land and also in others. Popular styles such as the cant de batre (Valencian singing style), fandango, tarantella, jota or ‘dansà’ go through the filter of Mox to become something new, in an evolution of these styles towards rock and pop; ultimately, towards the present day.
