The teams of University of Alacant, Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, Universitat Rovira i Virgili, and Universitat de València will compete, between Wednesday 6 and Friday 8 April, in the third edition of the University Championship of Orientation Races, which will take place in Titaguas and Alpuente (els Serrans, València). It will be possible to follow the competition with the hashtag #esportVives on Twitter (where the evolution of the sessions will be updated) as well as from this weblog.

The championship is organised by the Universitat de València within the joint act framework of the universities of territories where Catalan is spoken in the field of sports. For the teams linked to the sports services of the universities, there will be the modalities of long and medium distance. The area where the competition will be held is located on the south of Sierra de Javalambre, a mountainous region on the Iberian Peninsula, characterised by a topography with great forest formations

Thanks to the consolidation of the championship, the Red Vivas strengthens its bet for university spots in the Vives regions. In the 2 preceding editions, some of the most remarkable university athletes on this specialty have participated. Those athletes have won important titles at a national and international level.
