The teams formed by staff of the Universitat de València participate on Friday, in the Universitat Politècnica de València, in the Interuniversity Tournament.
Basketball, seven-a-side football, padel and tennis are the main sports in the afternoon of Friday, from 16:30 h when the games start. The tournament, which grows each year due to the excellent implication of the participants, allows that the staff of the different universities enjoys, through sport, a ludic and sport meeting.
The Universitat de València participates in all the sports with a total of thirty athletes. Specifically, with a basketball team and another of seven-a-side football, five tennis players and five padel couples.
The objective of the event is promoting and fostering the sport practice of the Universitat’s staff through competition, both in men and women. The university which obtains the highest number of points in their performances will win the trophy.
