The individual exhibition of Julia Prat coordinated from the Documentation Centre of Contemporary Valencian Art of the University of Valencia will be shown in the Ademuz Espacio de Arte (AEA) (Ademuz Art Space). This is the second of the six exhibitions for promotion of Valencian contemporary art by the last generation of artists, and it has been scheduled thanks to the collaboration links between the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of San Carlos of Valencia and the Ámbito Cultural of the El Corte Inglés. Drawing is more than the beginning of a graphic thought. In the work of Julia Prat, drawing means both a literary and a personal view, from the reality perceived and developed by the artist. Illustrator of the subconscious, the accuracy of her gesture draws and narrates, transforms and defines the strangeness and the closeness. The exhibition will show this imaginary infinite universe, which fails to absorb the viewers to the memory of their own dreams, wishes or reflections. Images, in short, as resounding as poetics.
