Presentation in Valencia of ‘Molecules’, the new book of Theodore Gray

The Octubre Centre de Cultura Contemporània hosts the presentation of the book ‘Molécules. Els elements i l’arquitectura de tot’ (‘Molecules. The elements and the architecture of everything’)

The event –within the Science Space– will be hosted by Isabel Vázquez, full university professor in Chemical Engineering and Vice-Principal of Studies and Languages Policy of the Universitat de València; and María Luisa Calatayud, professor in Chemistry of Bachillerato.

‘Molècules. Els elements i l’arquitectura de tot’ by Theodore Gray has been edited by Publicacions de la Universitat de València, the Institut d’Estudis Catalans and Edicions de la Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.

Every physical thing is made of the elements and the infinite variety of molecules that form when they combine among them. Gray, author of the best-seller ‘The Elements’, takes one more step in this volume and examines, through stories and photographs, the most important, essential, useful and marvellous of the millions of chemical structures that compose any material of the world.

Date 11 december 2015 at 19:00 to 21:00. Friday.
