Ricard Pérez presents his political memoirs

Participants: Manuel Vicent, writer; Miguel Ángel Villena, journalist; Ricard Pérez Casado, author of the work; Gustau Muñoz, publisher of PUV “Viaje de ida. Memorias políticas 1977-2007” by Ricard Pérez Casado, he is not just the mayor who inspired, recently emerging the democracy, the urban renovation of the city, the Valencia of democracy and autonomy, of urban inspiration and collective illusion. He is also a committed intellectual, an analyst, a politics and urbanism scholar. A man of conviction and a large public career, he claims his legacy against the obscenity of oblivion or defamation, and he describes in this pages the keys of his political and professional experiences, which started with the difficulties of the post-war period, in a home of defeated Republicans, and which culminate in a public relevant career, in Valencia, Mostar, Madrid and at the Spanish Parliament or Barcelona. In times of political discredit the testimony of Ricard Pérez Casado is of particular significance.
