Synopsis: During the Weimar Republic (1919-1933), once the First World War was over (1914-1918), popular protest movements took place. At the forefront of these movements was Rosa Luxemburg and Karl Liebknecht, founders of the group "Spartacus League", which would give rise to the German Communist Party.
