Spanish University Beach Volleyball Championship

The Universitat de València’s beach volleyball team disputes the Spanish University Beach Volleyball Championship in Santiago de la Ribera (Murcia)

This time, the team coached by Juanjo Susín goes to the national event with two doubles (men and women) formed by Zdravko Kamenov and Adrián Pastor, and Aurora Ubé and Paula Company. Kamenov-Pastor is a double that goes back to compete together after three years, when in 2013 they got to win the bronze medal in the national championship that also took place in Murcia. Juanjo Susín considers that “their evolution as players has gone further and, therefore, the expectations of this pair are to offer a good performance in the competition, and we hope they do.” By their part, the women’s double make their debut in the University Spanish Championship; Aurora Ubé competed last year, but for Paula Company is the first time. On them and their chances, Susín says that they “are a double that complement perfectly, young and eager to perform at a high level. Our girls are confident they are going to offer the same performance that women’s doubles in prior editions presented in the last Spanish Championships.”

As on previous university sports occasions, the Physical Education and Sports Service offers live coverage and monitoring of the teams through its social networks (Twitter: @sefuv and www.facebook.com/SEFUV) in which it provides to all the fans the most immediate information on the results of the games.
