In 2012, we celebrate Nosaltres els Valencian's 50th Anniversary, an essay on political, social and cultural history which holds a very important place in the extensive Joan Fuster's bibliography (Sueca, 1922-1992).
This importance is rooted on how influential it became from the moment of its publication, especially in historiographical renovation and generally in the conclusions and studies made in the field of Humanities in the Valencian Country. This influence didn't just catch on in academic circles, but it has become known by society on the whole, in various ways, through many phases and situations of every kind which have shaken our society during the last half of the century — from Franco's late years to nowadays.
