Synopsis: In the post-war years, Ofelia and her mother move to a small village to which the mother’s new husband has been assigned. He is a cruel captain of Franco’s army and the child does not feel any kind of affection for him. In the meanwhile, Ofelia discovers the remains of an ancestral maze.
