
APUNE (Association of North American Programs in Spain) associates with the Universitat with the intention of carry out joint projects. This institution, born on 1968, tries to approach north-American and Spaniard cultures by means of university students’ exchange.
By means of international institution Studies Abroad (ISA) and others specific agreements with various north-American universities (Iowa State University; University of North Carolina at Wilmington; Georgia Tech; Rutgers the State University of New Jersey), the Universitat de València organizes courses in language and culture immersion to these students. Ten courses were taught in 2014 to which 266 students attended. The International and Cooperation Office deals with the economic and bureaucratic paperwork, with the collaboration of the academic coordinators and the courses professors.
