The situation of housing in 2012 in Spain was terrible. “Food and shelter” is the story of Rocío, a young woman from Jerez de la Frontera who in this awarded melodrama portraits the situation of many women in a context of economic crisis, where human rights were changed by authorities with the aim to carry out as many economic cuts as possible.
