From the university field and, specifically, with the III Equality Plan of the University of Valencia (2019-2022), an attempt is made to prioritize training in equality and inclusive language, including the gender perspective and incorporating the value of equality among university students through various actions (SDG 5: Gender Equality; SDG 10: Reduction of inequalities). Within the framework of this plan and motivated by the Grants of the Unitat d'Igualtat (Vice-rectorat d'Igualtat, Diversitat i Politiques Inclusives, Universitat de València), the 1st Edition of the Illustration Award “Women also starred in the past: inclusive representations to divulge our history”. This activity has the support of the Faculty of Geography and History and the Department of Prehistory, Archeology and Ancient History. Students from the Faculty of Geography and History, as well as from other faculties of the University of Valencia, PDI and PAS, may participate in the contest. The objective is: to make visible the role of women throughout prehistory and history.
