The AEDTSS is part of the International Society of Labor Law and Social Security, a worldwide network of contact, meeting and participation of labor lawyers from all countries. Its main objectives are to promote and disseminate the study of Labor and Social Security Law, to facilitate and promote scientific cooperation, as well as to collaborate in the defense of the universally recognized fundamental rights of workers. It is made up of professionals with a very diverse profile who work in this field, including people from the university, the judiciary, professional practice, human resources management, as well as other related fields of action. 

The proposed theme is “Working Time and Climate Change”. There is no need to stress the importance of the topic, both from a structural perspective and in the present day. In terms of planning, on the first day (May 29) there will be an inaugural plenary session, which will include a general presentation. Subsequently, four panels will be held, two at a time, to analyze more specific issues. Each of these panels includes a presentation and a discussion.

The second day (May 30) includes workshops in which papers are presented to the different presentations. Also, the projects that are underway in the different research groups are presented. The activities culminate with the plenary presentation of the general conclusions and the closing ceremony.
