The Legal Clinic for Social Justice of the Faculty of Law of the University of Valencia has been awareded by the jury of the Grupo Social ONCE 2023 Solidarity Awards Comunitat Valenciana, on their meeting held on the 19th July, with the Solidarity prize in the category of Public Administration.

This is the second award we have been awarded this year.

The jury particularly valued our contribution to training future lawyers who deal with helping people or communities that are left out of institutional support systems, generating sensitivity towards social problems using the Law as a tool for social change.

This is, without a doubt, a recognition that is aimed at the effort and work carried out by all the students who, since 2006, have chosen the Clinic as the place to carry out their internships. A place where we teach that another vision of Law is possible, focused on the recognition of social justice as an essential axis, not only in the interpretation of Law, but also in the construction of public policies.
