As a result of the invasion of Ukraine, the Legal Clinics integrated in the Spanish Network agreed on a joint declaration (Spanish only) of condemnation and, in the face of this terrible humanitarian crisis, we decided to carry out a common action to help to the Ukrainian population that has been arriving in Spain, to help them in the exercise of their rights.

In this regard, the Legal Clinics of the Universities of A Coruña, Alcalá, Autónoma de Madrid, Camilo José Cela, Carlos III de Madrid, Centro de Estudios Garrigues, Deusto, Jaume I, Miguel Hernández de Elche, Murcia, Oviedo, Pontificia de Comillas de Madrid, Rey Juan Carlos, Salamanca, Valencia, Valladolid and Villanueva have prepared a Guide by Autonomous Communities that includes information on access to health care, education and work. We have also incorporated information about the protection measures for Ukrainian minors who arrive alone in Spain.

With this action, the Legal Clinics, as university spaces in which students and teachers are involved in the development of the social function of legal studies, express our commitment to human rights, stand in solidarity with the Ukrainian population and contribute to a warmest welcome.
