As part of the ongoing collaboration between CERMI Comunitat Valenciana and the Legal Clinic, a report entitled Implementation of the International Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities in the Valencian Community was released today. The report provides a critical and detailed analysis of how the standards of the Convention have been incorporated into Valencian regional legislation. The research has not only examined the legal framework, but also the practical application of these rights, using real cases and news items to illustrate the situation. The primary objective was to evaluate compliance with the Convention and identify persistent barriers and potential rights violations faced by this group.
The report is available in the Publications section of the Clinic's website: cjjs.uv.es (Spanish only)
