Master's degree goals

The overall objective of the Master in Advanced Physics is to provide a solid and fundamental training in Physics covering both basic scientific aspects as well as, given its multidisciplinary nature, more specific knowledge of the specialities and in the case of those with a larger applied component, the most practical and technological.

These objectives are focused especially in the field of scientific areas of Astronomy, Astrophysics, Nuclear Physics, Elementary Particle Physics, Optics, Photonics, Materials Science and Theoretical Physics.

It also provides the knowledge related to the current research topics in various specialties from a solid foundation in fundamental physics and provides the skills to proceed methodically in both theoretical and experimental aspects of physics.
