The Academic Committee of the Master’s Degree in Advanced English Studies is pleased to invite you to the WELCOME SESSION that will take place in Sala de Juntas (1st Floor) of the Faculty of Philology, Translation and Media Studies on Monday, October 16th 2017, at 4pm. Dr. Carles PADILLA, Dean of the Faculty will preside over the Session. Dr. Miguel MARTÍNEZ, Head of the Department of English and German, Dr. Purificación RIBES, Director of the Master’s Degree Programme, and Dr. Patricia BOU, Director of IULMA, will briefly address and welcome the audience. Dr. Jesús LÓPEZ-PELÁEZ CASELLAS, from the University of Jaén, will deliver a lecture on “PROTO-GLOBALIZATION AND NEW ECONOMY IN EARLY MODERN ENGLISH LITERATURE”. Light refreshments will be served in the foyer at the end of the Session.
