Enrique Bigné is Professor of Marketing at the University of Valencia since 2001. He previously occupied the same position at the University Jaume I (1996-2001). Rafael Currás Pérez is currently a Full Professor in the Department of Marketing at the University of Valencia. He holds a degree in Business Administration from the Polytechnic University of Valencia (Faculty of Business Studies) and obtained his PhD in Marketing from the University of Valencia in 2007. My current interests are omnichannel retailing and sustainable purchasing behaviour. I have participated in 28 research projects, 19 of which were selected in public calls for proposals and 8 of which belong to the National R&D Plan, being the principal investigator of two projects of the National R&D Plan. I am a co-author of 20 books and book chapters and more than 50 articles in high-impact international journals (JCR or Scopus). I have been a visiting professor at international universities, including the University of Edinburgh (United Kingdom), Bocconi University, Milan (Italy), the University of North Carolina (USA) and the Dublin Institute of Technology (Dublin, Ireland). I am the coordinator of two educational innovation projects and a member of the research team for three educational innovation projects, participating in conferences to disseminate educational advances. |

Dr. Maria-Jose Miquel-Romero is a Full Professor in the Marketing Department at the University of Valencia (Spain). She has worked as the Academic Director of the master’s degree in marketing and Market Research at the School of Business Studies at the University of Valencia (Spain), and she has also coordinated the master’s degree in marketing and communication at the University of Valencia (Spain). Her research interests include advertising, private labels, omnichannel retailing, and consumer behavior. She has co-authored numerous book chapters and papers published in indexed journals on her topics of interest, like Journal of Business Research, Corporate Social Responsibility and Environmental Management, Psychology & Marketing, Computers in Human Behavior, Journal of Retailing and Consumer Services or Review of Managerial Science, among others. A member of the Department of Business Management since 1993, Manuela Pardo-del-Val holds a degree in Economics and Business Administration and a Master’s in Tourism Management from the University of Valencia. She defended her doctoral thesis in 2002 with European Mention, receiving the Extraordinary Doctorate Award. She also received the Teaching Excellence Award (2009) and has three recognised research periods. With nearly half a hundred articles published in academic journals, she has presented her research at national and international conferences, including the Iberoamerican Academy of Management, the European Academy of Management, and the Eurasia Business and Economics Society Conference (EBES). She has undertaken research stays at the universities of Exeter and South Bank (United Kingdom), Universität zu Köln (Germany), Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien (Austria), as well as at Universidad Carlos III and the University of Zaragoza. In the teaching field, she has taught undergraduate and postgraduate courses in core subjects of her area of expertise and in specialised courses, mainly related to human resource management. Her teaching is distinguished by a commitment to innovation, bringing the business world into the classroom, and integrating technological advancements in both teaching and professional contexts. Two key features characterise Dr. Pardo-del-Val: her institutional commitment and her social commitment. Regarding the former, she spent a decade holding various positions in different dean teams, in addition to her continued presence in academic governance bodies such as the Governing Council, the Faculty Board, and the University Senate. José Pla-Barber is a doctor in Economics with an extraordinary doctorate award and European certificate, Full Professor of Management at the University of Valencia and associate researcher at the “John Dunning Center” of the University of Reading (U.K). In the international arena, he has been vice-chair of the European International Business Academy (2012-2018) and chair of the Academy of International Business Western Europe Chapter (2010-2018). Since 2019 he is a Fellow of the European International Business Academy. Professor Pla-Barber has been a visiting professor at the University of Reading (UK), Norwegian School of Management (Norway), King’s College London (U.K) and ESCE Paris. At the University of Valencia, he has been Director of the Management Department (2004-2008), director of the doctorate in Management (2008-2012) and director of the Master in Business Strategy (2012-2018). He has supervised 21 doctoral theses, 6 research projects of the National Science and Technology Plan and numerous applied projects financed by the BBVA Foundation, the Chamber of Commerce, the Ministry of Industry, the Spanish association of home-textiles or the Generalitat Valenciana. His main lines of research are the analysis of the internationalization of the company, the management of the multinational company and the study of international competitiveness of the industry, having published more than 70 articles in prestigious journals such as International Journal of Management Reviews, Global Strategy Journal, Management International Review, International Business Review, Journal of Business Research, International Marketing Review, Scandinavian Journal of Management, Journal of International Marketing, Services Industries Journal, Journal of Economic Geography, or British Journal of Management. His book "International Business Management" is considered a bestseller by Pearson Education publishing house. He has recently published the books "International Business Management" in the McGraw-Hill publishing house and "Caixa Ontinyent: more than words, facts". His teaching specialty in International Management has led him to give numerous lectures and undergraduate, master and postgraduate courses in a wide range of Spanish and international universities (among others, University of Reading, Glasgow University, Uppsala University, Norwegian School of Management; ESCE Paris, Novancia Paris, Utrech University, University of Havana, UNED, UCR and TEC in Costa Rica, ICESI, University of Antioquia, Universidad del Valle, Universidad del Norte and EAFIT in Colombia, UNAM of Mexico, APEC of Dominican Republic, ORT Uruguay, ADEX Peru, etc.).
