XXI International Week of the University of Valencia, from 6 to 10 November 2023. During this week, the International Relations and Cooperation Service, in collaboration with all the Faculties and Schools of the University, has presented the exchange programs for stays abroad during the course. 2024-2025.

The call for the International Mobility Program for the 2024-2025 academic year has been published. The application submission period will remain open from November 6 to 24, 2023. Applications must be submitted online through the Student Services Portal. More information here.

General information

Requirements to participate in the International Outgoing Program

The grants are awarded to students of the University of Valencia Degree who wish to study a semester or a complete course in universities of non-European countries.

To be able to participate will be required:

  1. Have passed 42 credits at the end of the course prior to the publication of the call.
  2. Be enrolled in official studies of the University of Valencia Degree, both at the time of making the application and during the period of stay.
  3. Not having been previously beneficiaries of an International Mobility Program of the University of Valencia, although it was through another degree.
  4. Not to be beneficiary in the same course of any other mobility program (SICUE or Erasmus), except for the Erasmus Practices program if it is in a different semester.
  5. To prove the level of language in the terms established in the call. More information here.
  6. The award is conditional on compliance with the mobility rules of each degree adopted by the centers to which they belong. These centers will decide, if applicable, on the exclusion of the affected students.
  7. Meet the specific requirements of the destinations they request.

Due to the special characteristics of some studies in the United States and Canada, the students of Economics, Law or Pharmacy can find problems to be accepted by the university of destination. In some cases, they accept them if they take subjects from other degrees. If they are not accepted they will lose the place.

The Faculty of Medicine does not participate in the International Program nor as a student transmitter or as a recipient.

Selection criteria

The applications will be prioried according to the difference between the average grade of the student's academic record and the average mark of their degree at the end of the 2022-2023 academic year.

The agreements of the International Program are not signed by degree but by university. Therefore, it is necessary to consult the web of the university of destination to make sure that the degree sought is taught, and that is offered to exchange students:

Main changes on the occasion of covid-19:

  • Face-to-face, mixed (blended learning) or virtual (online) mobility is supported.
  • To receive the scholarship it will be necessary to travel to the destination country, with the express permission of the host university.
  • Annual mobilities over seven months will receive the full scholarship.
  • Annual mobility of less than seven months will be considered semi-annual stays for economic purposes.
  • In one semester mobilities, the minimum period of stay to receive financial aid will be three months.

  • In one semester mobilities, the minimum period of stay to receive financial aid will be three months.

Provisional list of admitted and excluded applications.

Deadline for claims: Jan 22, 2024 through an e-mail addressed to programa.internacional@uv.es with personal data and the reason for the claim. The students will have to send the allegations with the institutional mail of the University (...@alumni.uv.es)

Important:  In the case of being admitted, the applicants must also check if the average grade of their file and recognized linguistic accreditation are correct. The language certificate only appears if it has been presented within the deadline and if it corresponds to the language level required in the Portal Serveis Estudiant for the requested destination.

The applications of the people admitted in the final list that will be published on January 26, will participate in the award procedure of the International Program scholarships, following the order of priority established according to the criteria established in point 12 of the call.

Publication of the definitive list of admitted and excluded applications.

On Tuesday February 7, 2024 the results of the people who are beneficiaries of the scholarship will be published, indicating the destination university.

The scholarships will be awarded following the evaluation and allocation criteria for places included in point 12 of the 2024-2025 call.

NOTICE: there is no waiting list.  In the case of having also applied for the Erasmus studies scholarship, and having obtained this scholarship, we advise you to accept it.

The students who do not appear on the award list is because they have not obtained the scholarship after applying the criteria established in point 12 of the call.

IMPORTANT: all students and students with a place awarded in the 2024-2025 International Program will have to follow the following steps of the procedure:

 

1. Attend the face-to-face informative meeting, Friday, February 9 at 11.00 hours, Tarongers Campus, North Classroom, room N101 . Meeting attendance is mandatory.

2. Accept the scholarship: To accept your scholarship you need to follow these steps:

  • Accept your scholarship on the Banco Santander website by clicking on the red button 'accept your scholarship' that you will see in the notification you will receive in your email. The term to accept it here will be 7 days from the moment you receive the notification.
  • Accept your scholarship through the Online Office UV: you must search the Online Office UV for the procedure "International Program File" and follow the acceptance steps. The deadline to accept the scholarship for all destinatios is from February 9 to 29, 2024

NOTICE: there is no waiting list.  In the case of having also applied for the Erasmus studies scholarship, and having obtained this scholarship, we advise you to accept it.

Acceptance of the scholarship: it is necessary to look for the procedure "International Program File" in ENTREU and follow the steps of acceptance. The deadlines for accepting the scholarship are as follows:

Modification of the term of acceptance of the scholarships by ENTREU due to the management difficulties derived from the Covid:

a) Universities in the USA, Canada, Australia, Asia and Russia: We extend the period of acceptance of the scholarship of these destinations until Monday, March 8, 2021.

b) Latin American universities: from February 11 to March 30, 2021  (the same acceptance period is maintained)

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT 

  1. The formal non-acceptance in ENTREU on the indicated date, supposes the resignation in the International Program.
  2. The formal acceptance of the International Program scholarship will imply the automatic resignation of the Erasmus studies 2021-2022 program.

News International Program course 2020-2021

Indications on the programs of international mobility of the University of Valencia in the academic course 2020-21 (Informative update to 13 July 2020). If you have a scholarship awarded for the 2020-21 academic year, it is important that you read the instructions here.

Main news on the occasion of covid-19:
 

  • Face-to-face, mixed (blended learning) or virtual (online) mobility is supported.
  • To receive the scholarship it will be necessary to travel to the destination country.
  • Annual mobilities over seven months will receive the full scholarship.
  • Annual mobility of less than seven months will be considered semi-annual stays for economic purposes.
  • In one semester mobilities, the minimum period of stay to receive financial aid will be three months.

Award of Places of the 2019-2020 International Program

Resolution of the Vice Chancellor for which the places of the International Program are adjudicated

Students are summoned with place awarded to the informative sessions that will be held on Tuesday February 12 in the Aula S101, Aulario Sur (Campus de Tarongers) in the following hours:

  • Students with a place awarded to universities in North America, Asia, Australia and Russia: at 11:00 a.m.
  • Students with a place awarded to universities in Latin America: at 1:00 p.m.

Students who have a place awarded in the International Program will have to fill through the online application ENTREU the acceptance of the scholarship in the following deadlines:

  • Universities of North America, Asia, Australia and Russia: from 12 to 26 February 2019.
  • Universities of Latin America: from February 12 to March 29, 2019.

Non-acceptance within the aforementioned term will imply that the student resigns to the assigned place.

 

Correction of errors is published in the list of awards and destinations of the 2019-2020 International Program:

Informative sessions for students with a place assigned will take place next 12th February in the Faculty of Geography and History (classroom F3.4):

  • Students with place assigned to USA,  Asia, Australia and Rusia: at 11.00 h.
  • Students with place assigned to Latin- America: at 13.00 h.

Awarded students must accept their grant using the on-line form ENTREU. Deadline for acceptance:

  • Universities from USA,  Asia, Australia and Rusia: from February 12th to February 28th. 
  • Universities from Latin-America: from February 12th to March 30th.
