To study a degree at the Universitat de València, students who come from educational systems of European Union countries, international baccalaureate or countries with reciprocal agreement, have to carry out the following procedures for university access:

  1. Obtain an UNEDasiss accreditation or access certification, which includes the applicant's university entrance grade (NAU). Responsible: UNEDasiss.
  2. To increase the university entrance grade, follow one of the procedures provided. Responsible: UNEDasiss.
  3. To participate in the process of access and admission to the Universitat de València, by applying for a place in the pre-enrolment procedure common to the five Valencian public universities. Responsible: Ministry of Education, Culture, Universities and Employment.
  4. Once you have obtained a place in the pre-enrolment, formalise your enrolment at the University of Valencia.

1. UNEDasiss acces certificate

UNEDasiss, a service of the Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia (UNED), responsible for evaluating the academic records of international students, issuing the accreditation that allows them to apply for a place through pre-enrolment and taking the tests to gain access to undergraduate studies at Spanish universities.

Therefore, the first step that students from European Union countries, international baccalaureate or countries with a reciprocal agreement must take is to apply to UNEDasiss for a certificate or accreditation of the pre-university studies completed in their country of origin. This accreditation will have a maximum score of 10 points and is equivalent to the university entrance grade (NAU).

2. Raise the University Entrance Grade 

It is important to know, especially if you want to access some degrees with high demand, that access to university is calculated on the basis of 14 points.
