At the School Meeting on March 26, 2024, the votes were held in the César Simón room of the School of Philology, Translation and Communication to elect the new dean, the professor of the German Philology area José Antonio Calañas Continente. He was till now the head of the English and German Philology department. He has obtained 38 votes in favor, and two abstentions. He has taken over from Professor Amparo Ricós, who has served as dean of the FFTiC for the last 6 years. Calañas presented the new secretary and vice deans, and highlighted the respect for the work carried out by the previous team and the desire to work for the School with a perspective of service and flexibility in the face of the numerous changes that must be faced.

Together with Professor Calañas, the following professors form the new deanship team:

-Rosa Álvarez Sellers, Vice Dean of Culture, Equality, Inclusive Policy and sustainibility

-Julia Aguilar, Vice Dean of Students

-María José Bertomeu Massià, Vice dean of Postgraduate Studies

-Enrique Cerezo Herrero, Vice dean of Internationalization and Cooperation

-Carlos López Olano, Vice dean of Communication and Innovation

-Adrià Martí-Badia, Secretary of the center

-Fernando Pérez Lambás, Vice dean of Undergraduate Studies
