1) Registration
Registration will take place on Monday September 9 at 8h30 at the hall of Block C of the Physics Faculty.
2) Attendance control
An attendance control for the academic activities has been established for all participants who wish to receive a certificate of participation in the School, which is also required for undergraduate students of the BIP organising universities (University of Jyväskylä, Johannes Gutenberg-Mainz University, University of Palermo, University of Latvia, Universitat de València) who wish to obtain the 3 ECTS assigned to the School. Participants are kindly requested to show their badges at the entrance door of the conference room at the beginning of each session.
3) Recognition of ECTS credits:
Undergraduate students from the Universitat de València (and the other BIP participating universities: Jyväskylä, Mainz, Palermo and Latvia) will be divided into working teams of three students from different universities to deepen the contents of the lectures and will be able to obtain 3 ECTS credits by fulfilling the following evaluation criteria:
- Attendance (80% of hours minimum)
AND
- Preparation, recording and submission of presentations* of two lectures (10 minutes minimum) chosen by the working teams from a set of suggestions made by the School's organising committee OR oral presentation (15 minutes minimum), OR preparation of a poster and discussion in the poster session.
* to be prepared remotely during the two weeks following the end of the School.
4) Contributed talks and poster session
The last version of the School’s programme includes the distribution of the contributed talks and the poster session. Please the programme (see Second Circular) to check the schedule of your talk.
5) Booklet of abstracts and participants list
We have prepared a book of abstracts with the summaries of the invited conferences and the rest of the oral contributions, as well as the posters. The book also contains the list of participants and other interesting practical information.

6) Lunches
A special agreement has been set with the Bar de Farmacia (one of the cafeterias of the campus) to serve menus for the School’s participants. Each participant is provided with four tickets (to be used from Monday to Thursday), which should be handed at the cash desk after picking up the menu.
7) Guided tour of the historic centre of Valencia and La Nau building
The guided tour will start at the Serranos Towers (tram line 4, Pont de Fusta stop, + 5 min walk) on Tuesday and Wednesday at 18h (please be punctual). The estimated combined duration of both visits is 2 hours and a half. Those registered for the guided tour have been divided into two groups (Tuesday, T, and Wednesday, W). Please check the back of your badge.
8) Open air concert at Burjassot campus
We have scheduled an open-air concert at Burjassot campus on Thursday afternoon from 17h30 with performances by Carlos Navarrete (https://www.carlosnb.com/music) and Valmuz (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N67kO2NBCpE). It will be a good time to relax after four days of work.
9) School’s Closing Lunch
The School’s Closing Lunch has been arranged at the Delgadito Gastrobar in Godella. Only for participants who have confirmed their attendance to the lunch.
