The Universitat de València offers the Entreiguals mentorship programme to those students who are starting their university studies in September 2022. Through this programme, first-year students are put in contact with fellow students from higher courses so that they can accompany them in the process of adaptation to the Universitat and help them become familiar with university life.
An Entreiguals mentor provides new students with useful information about the Universitat and helps them to learn how to use academic resources, find the rooms, laboratories and departments and to discover the participation possibilities and interesting complementary activities, among other things. Therefore, it is a programme whose aim is to avoid and overcome the potential difficulties that may rise in the process of integration at the university.
During the enrolment process and the first days of class, the faculties will suggest the students by email or Whatsapp the possibility of having a mentor. Students should pay attention to this contact, since taking advantage of this opportunity offered by Entreiguals is highly recommended in order to have a good start at the University of València.
