The vitality of the Libertarian Movement, with its frenetic propaganda, cultural and educational activity, favoured the creation of schools, especially in Catalonia, Madrid, Aragon and Valencia, despite the situation that existed as a result of the war. The Revolution of 1936 led to improvements not only in the economic and social development, but also in the field of culture and education.
