Functions
The External Internships Committee has the mission of promoting, organizing, and academically supervising external internships, in coordination with the academic committees of the degree programs attached to the centre.
In accordance with the Regulations for External Academic Internships of the Universitat de València (ACGUV 213/2024), the functions of the Centre Internships Committee are the following:
a. Organizing and coordinating the training internships for each degree program at the centre.
b. Proposing the models for internship programs to the committees of each degree program at the centre, for their approval.
c. Evaluating the internship offers received and assigning them to the areas of knowledge.
d. Approving the annual internship offer for each degree program.
e. Establishing the procedures and criteria for assigning internship offers to students.
f. Establishing, where appropriate, the procedure for assigning external internships to students in mobility and double degree programs, in accordance with what may be established, where applicable, by the program's approved report by the Governing Council.
g. Reporting on applications for recognition of professional activity as external academic internships.
h. Setting the maximum number of teaching credits assigned to academic tutoring within the framework of the Universitat de València regulations that govern it.
i. Preparing and approving the reports required for compliance with the Internal Quality Assurance System.
j. Proposing a procedure to the committees of each degree program at the centre for granting the distinction of Matrícula de Honor (Summa Cum Laude) in curricular internships.
k. Any others that may be established to ensure the proper functioning of the internships.
