On June 1st, 2026, from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. (CET), the online seminar “Single Case Research for Education and Psychology: Questions, Designs, and Analysis” will be delivered by Dr. Jimmie Leppink (Leppink Analytics).

Summary: Single case research has attracted increasing interest in the fields of education and psychology due to its potential for developing personalized educational strategies and interventions. Unlike studies based on large groups of participants, single case designs focus on the repeated assessment of the same individual or a small number of participants over time.

During this seminar, Dr. Leppink will discuss the main similarities and differences between single case designs and traditional group-based research designs, examining the types of research questions that can be addressed through each approach. In addition, the seminar will introduce the main single case research designs, their methodological assumptions, and the most appropriate data analysis procedures for this type of research.
