International meeting at the UV (27-28 May) to boost collaboration between research and industry, share best practices, and foster innovation within FORTHEM.
The FORTHEM Transfer Event is a two day international meeting (27-28 May) hosted at Marie Curie Auditorium the Scientific Park of the University of València, bringing together researchers, representatives from the business sector, technology transfer professionals, institutional leaders, spin-off companies, entrepreneurs, and innovation agents from the universities that make up the FORTHEM Alliance.
The event aims to strengthen the bridges between academic research and the industrial ecosystem, fostering collaboration, innovation, and the creation of impactful solutions for society.
On the first day, topics such as the role of the regional government in technology transfer, best practices in university–industry collaboration in R&D&I, the technology transfer ecosystem at the University of Valencia, and technology transfer within the FORTHEM framework will be discussed.
The second day will focus on spin-off companies, their concept, legal framework, and policies at the University of Valencia, as well as success stories and acceleration structures. Workshops will also be held on the Science Lean Canvas and on the valorization and commercialization of research results.
