Synthesis of heterocyclic nitrogen compounds and subsequent study of their chemical reactivity. Study the ability of the prepared compounds to coordinate with different cationic and/or anionic species and study the possible applications of these interactions. Based on this knowledge, the possible pharmacological activity of the prepared compounds will be studied.
- Desarrollo de nuevas metodologías sintéticas para la preparación de compuestos heterocíclicos nitrogenados.
- Estudio de la reactividad de los compuestos preparados: Propiedades ácido-base, reactividad frente a nucleófilos y electrófilos. Reacciones de funcionalización.
- Estudios de interacción de los heterociclos preparados con especies catiónicas y/o aniónicos así como con biomoléculas. Aplicaciones como sensores.
- Estudio de las posibles actividad farmacológica de los compuestos preparados.
