As the department responsible for student admission, the Academic Coordination Commission (ACC) will consider the following specific criteria:
- Academic background and affinity of previous studies with the masters (40%). Preference will be given to candidates holding a degree in Geography, Biology, Environmental Science, Architecture, Engineering, Economics, Sociology, Tourism and other related profiles.
- Average mark in academic records/transcript (30%), as per the following scale: 4: A+, 3: A; 2: B; 1: C.
- Professional experience (10%), e.g. geographers, environmentalists, biologists, economists, etc.
- Complementary education/training in the Master's study area (10%).
- Languages (5%) (English and French, preferably).
- Motivation letter expressing interest in doing the masters (5%).
If necessary, the ACC will interview the candidates.
