According to the article 177 of the Statutes of Universitat de València, theThe Student Council is formed by a maximum of 200 representatives distributed as follows:

1. A representation of each centre, elected by the Students Council Branch, according to the established in the regulations of the Student Council.
2. The student members of the university Senate.

Also, and according to the first article of the Temporary Regulations about the election procedure and functioning of the Student Council:

1. The Student Council is constituted as follows:

1. By the Senate representatives of the students.
2. By an equal number of representatives of the elected centres by the A.D.R. according to the criteria indicated in the article 2.

2. The delegate of the students could attend without the right to vote, except if s/he is a full member as part of the senate or representative of the council of the centre in which s/he studies.

3. When the issue that is going to be discussed requires it, the Coordination Board could invite other members of the university community, the presence of whom will be limited to the item or items on the agenda to which they are invited.
