Electronic identification systems
University of Valencia supports two types of access for user identification: acces through the university's own mechanisms or through the access mechanisms of Cl@ve platform.
UV Mechanisms
Digital certificate:
UV Online Office supports the recognised electronic certificates for citizens' identification issued by the following certification authorities:

ATENTION: Certificates stored on a cryptographic card require a smart card reader installed on your computer. Check the technical requirements section as well as the device manufacturer's information.
Concerted keys:
Based on user/password provided to the users of UV university community when they become part of it. It is a password system with a long-lasting validity, aimed at regular users of electronic public services.
Likewise, and in accordance with the LAE law, Online Office offers users the possibility to register and acquire both user name and password for their identification at the Online Office. In this case, users may only carry out electronic procedures in those which this is established, in accordance with the criteria of security, integrity and non-repudiation.
Cl@ve mechanisms
Digital certificate:
As a general rule, electronic DNI card and all recognised certificates included in the Trusted List of certification service providers established in Spain, published on the electronic office of the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Tourism are accepted.
For legal entities and companies, this site accepts identification both by means of certificates issued by ACCV and by means of electronic seals issued by FNMT. The list of authorities accepted for the electronic identification of entities and companies will be gradually updated.

Password system with a very limited validity in time, oriented to users who sporadically access electronic public services.
Cl@ve Permanente
A password system with long-lasting validity, aimed at regular users of electronic public services.
Electronic signature systems
For electronic signature, UV Online Office currently supports the recognised certificates issued by the following certification authorities:
Usage of DNIe requires the installation of associated software and hardware, information on which can be found at the following site of the Ministry of Interior: http://www.dnielectronico.es
