The Vice President of Training Policies and Quality Education has opened the deadline for submission of proposals for training activities for the first half of 2015. This is the organization of elective courses; complementary training activities aimed at contributing to the integral formation of students; and training activities aimed at promoting the external projection of the Universitat de València.

In the first paragraph, elective courses are aimed at students enrolled in diploma, undergraduate and engineering, under regulations approved by Consell de Govern of June 30, 2004 (ACGUV 108/2004), as amended by Council of Government of September 28, 2004.

The second section, the complementary training activities, are intended to contribute to the comprehensive education of students in the Universitat de València, completing the formal curriculum preparation, covering specific training shortfalls not considered in current curricula of formal qualifications or facilitating the transition between different titles or different training levels. In neither case shall not be considered activities related to fundamental knowledge of the regulated securities or having a general nature which do extend to all students.

The third group of training activities, the university extension and permanent training, are aimed at encouraging the external projection of the University of Valencia, through the dissemination of science and culture in its various manifestations (such as Article 139 states in Estatutos de la Universitat de València) and promote collaboration of the University with institutions, public or private, civil society organizations and associations, aimed at updating and improvement in line with the continued theoretical and practical training.
