Academic, scientific or professional interest: The main objective of this programme is to provide students advanced training in the area of communication and its impact on current society, as the discussion about communication policies cannot be reduced to an academic issue and is part of broader processes connected with culture and the construction of social imaginaries. Since communication has a central position in our era, it is necessary to rely on specialists who -from the institutional realm or that of new cultural industries, from management positions or creative ones- can face the challenges of the so-called information society with the adequate methodological and analytical tools offered by this Master’s.
