A seminar at the Faculty will analyse the complex relationship that has always linked images to monarchy. The First Seminar on Visual Culture and Anthropology of Images, by the IRUDI research group (University of Buenos Aires), will take place throughout the next 9 days (11:00-14:00) and 16 December (16:00-19:00). Second Conference of History of Valencia
As part of the activities scheduled by Aula Ciutat for this academic year, we are planning to held the Second Conference of History of Valencia
La Blanca. A decade of heritage development.
An exhibition on the first floor of the Faculty of Geography and History brings us to the world of the ancient Maya and modern populations of wild Department of Petén, Guatemala. The exhibition, consisting of 20 panels very visual, collects the work done in Maya cities of La Blanca and Chilonché since 2004 by a cross-disciplinary team from the Universitat de València, Universitat Politècnica de València and San Carlos de Guatemala. It will be opened on Wednesday, 26 November, at 16:30 until Christmas.
Grants for the elaboration of teaching materials, doctoral theses and articles, addressed to the staff, research interns and doctoral students of the UV.
From 24 to 31 November, degree and master’s degree students can find surveys on the Virtual Office to assess their first term teachers.
