The University of Valencia offers various channels to promote new proposals on continuous and postgraduate training, adapted to current needs in the professional and academic environment.

Running a postgraduate course at the University of Valencia and fulfilling its training postgraduate training offer establishes you as a leading expert in the subject, which is an excellent showcase of said specialised training.

Who can propose a course?

Doctoral faculty members linked to the University of Valencia. The proposal must have a guarantee from a department, centre or university research institute of the University of Valencia.  

What types of courses can be proposed?

  • Lifelong learning Master's degree (60, 90 o 120 ETCS credits)
  • Specialisation diplomas (between 30 and 59 ETCS credits)
  • University expert (between 15 and 29 ETCS credits)
  • Continuous training certificate (between 15 and 30 ETCS credits)
  • University microcredentials (up to 14 ETCS credits)

What processes are needed to approve the courses?

Since the presentation of the course to the final approval, the courses go through the following phases:

  • Presentation of course proposals to the Office of the Vice-Rector for Lifelong Learning, Educational Transformation and Employment.
  • Public exhibition.
  • Approval from the Academic Committee for Postgraduate Studies.
  • Approval from the Governing Council.
  • Approval from the Board of Trustees.

What can the economic resources obtained from a postgraduate course be used for?

The income derived from the postgraduate course, besides the remuneration for the given classes, can be used for the acquisition of scientific materials and in the future for the recruitment of research staff.

Who manages the courses?

The Fundació ADEIT of the University of Valencia is the entity in charge for the management and the promotion of the postgraduate qualification and the continuous training at the University of Valencia. It has more than 35 years of experience and a highly specialised team.

Who can propose a course that is open to the public or custom-made?

  • From the Fundació ADEIT, we offer to companies, entities, and professionals a non-formal learning service, either open to the public or custom-made.
  • Therefore, it can be promoted by the faculty members of the University of Valencia, by companies or entities, or by the Fundació itself. It can also be open to different or specific profiles, depending on the demands of the client. Regarding modalities, it can be in-person or online, in spaces owned by ADEIT or by the client.

Who are these training actions aimed at?

These training actions are aimed at professionals, executives, freelancers and employees of companies or entities who are looking to refresh or expand their competences.

What is the focus of these courses and what kind of learning do they offer?

The courses are characterised by a practical focus, directed to the resolution of real problems, which facilitates the direct application of knowledge in a professional setting.

What duration do the training actions have?

The actions have a short duration with a teaching load of below 30 hours, so that they can be combined with the professional activity.

What teaching modalities are available?

Formative actions can be developed online, blended, or in-person, thus, adapting themselves to the needs of the participants and of the organisations.

They are characterised by an agile management, which facilitates its quick implementation and development, guaranteeing an efficient response to the detected learning needs.
