Registration period:

The registration in the Colla de Dolçaines of the UV is annual and coincides with the academic year. There are two registration periods (one each semester) in case that there are available places.

*IMPORTANT: Although these are the ideal pre-registration dates, the registration period is opened throughout the whole academic year until all the places are held. Therefore, you can send your application throughout the whole academic year and extraordinary entry examinations will be organised if there were any available places. 

If the applicant was registered in the past, the pre-registration and the entry examination will not be necessary.

Deposit

The participation in the Colla de Dolçaines of the UV is free. The students will be considered a registered member if they have made a deposit of 40€ (bank payment) each term. This deposit will be returned to the student at the end of the term if he has attended 80% of the activities of the term (including rehearsals, classes and performances in which he has been summoned).

Had the student not attended 80% of the activities organised by the Colla de Dolçaines of the UV during the term he has been registered, he will be penalised and the deposit will not be returned to him.

If you want to be a member of the Colla de Dolçaines of the UV, the new applicants will have to pre-register by completing the attached form

Entry examination

The new applicants will receive the confirmation of the pre-registration in which they will be asked to attend an entry examination, which will consist in playing a piece of music to be selected by the applicant for a maximum of 10 minutes.

The day after the examination, the new applicants will receive an email in which they will be notified about the results of the examination. Were they selected, they will be informed about the steps they will have to follow to formalise the registration.

Registration of new candidates and renewal of active members:

New candidates

The new applicants will have to complete the registration form, submit the authorisation of direct debit payment (SEPA) to do the deposit and the additional documents (ID copy and university ID) pointed out in the communication document that they will receive after having passed the entry examination.

Renewal of active members

For the renewal of the place of active  members of the Colla de Dolçaines i Percussió de la UV, it will only be necessary to fill in the Form of renewal of place to the Colla de Dolçaines in which they will have to attach the photocopy of their university card and the authorization of the direct debit (SEPA) for the deposit (only in the case that the account number has changed with respect to the previous course).

In both cases, once the forms with the corresponding documentation have been received, an e-mail will be sent with the confirmation of the registration as a member for the current academic year.

The members of the Colla will receive an e-mail with the approximate date on which the receipt will be sent for the payment of the deposit for the corresponding four-month period.
