Students starting their university studies in September 2023 at the Universitat de València have within their reach a very good opportunity become familiar, in a short time, with university life with the Entreiguals mentoring programme. This is an initiative that puts first-year and incoming students in contact with a classmate from a higher level of their faculty or school to accompany them in their incorporation to the University.

An Entreiguals mentor, in addition to having gone through the experience of being a new student, has been trained to be able to establish a relationship of support and accompaniment and, in coordination with the teaching staff responsible for each centre, develops actions to promote the academic, personal and social integration of new students. They are thus prepared to provide useful information about the Universitat, help to know how to make use of academic resources, move around campus and locate classrooms, labs and departments, as well as discover participation possibilities and interesting complementary activities, among others.

How can a student get an Entreiguals mentor?

During the enrolment process and in the first days of classes, the faculties will propose directly to the first year students, via UV e-mail or WhatsApp, the possibility to be mentored. You should be aware of this contact as it is highly recommended to make the most of the opportunity offered by Entreiguals to get off to a good start at the Universitat.

Entreiguals is a programme promoted by the Student Delegation, managed by the SeDi Information and Promotion Service and carried out in coordination with the faculties of the Universitat de València.
