Organic Synthesis by Transition Metals Catalysis - SOCAMT

Reference of the Group:

GIUV2023-545

Description of research activity:

The line of research is based on exploiting the catalytic activity of transition metal complexes to conduct the synthesis of value-added organic compounds such as chiral amines, acetoxy, azatrine or nitrogenous polycyclic compounds. Both innovative methods of generating strategic bonds and their implementation in complex reactions such as multi-cycling processes are studied so that they can be conducted in a more direct way than that necessary without the intervention of the catalysis of metal complexes. Both the practical aspects of synthesis and the mechanistic aspects are studied, as well as the different steric or electronic factors that influence the course of the reaction. In addition, theoretical calculations are made to support the experimental results.
