The Degree in Audiovisual Communication offers a precise and in-depth knowledge of the different languages (photography, cinema, television, radio, video, multimedia formats, etc.) and media that constitute the audiovisual field, as well as the study of the origin and development of each of these media and languages. Furthermore, it gives students an exhaustive education in audiovisual techniques and creation, production and dissemination processes in their various phases and illustrates the interrelations between the subjects of audiovisual communication: creator, institutions, companies, media and audience.
The degree is supported by the Taller d’Audiovisuals (Audiovisual Workshop, TAU), where practical and theoretical-practical classes take place. The TAU includes specific sets for photography, radio, television, video, cinema, and design and production of interactive contents. This degree prepares students for the analysis and creation of all types of audiovisual products: cinema, television, radio and multimedia.
