    - - Possess and apply general knowledge in the field of interlinguistic translation and mediation.
    - - Define criteria for contrasting interlinguistic and intercultural differences for further application to translation interlinguistic mediation.
    - - Possess translatory competence (direct and/or reverse) in general texts.
    - - Possess translatory competence (direct and/or reverse) in specialized texts (in various thematic areas).
    - - Know the main translation techniques and standards in their sociocultural context.
    - - Possess interpretative competence (direct and/or reverse) in general texts.
    - - Master the new information and communication technologies applied to interlinguistic translation and mediation.
    - - Master documentation techniques for interlinguistic and intercultural translation and mediation
    - - Conéixer, use and create terminological bases and lexicographical bases relevant to translation and mediation interlinguistics.
    - - Conéixer sociopolitical and economic institutions of, almenys, two cultural areas.
    - - Conéixer legal and administrative institutions of, at least, two cultural areas.
    - - Conéixer the professional scope of interlinguistic translation and mediation, the various ethical codes and the evaluation of the quality
    - - Know grammar and develop communicative competences in the Spanish language, for its application to translation and interlinguistic mediation, in order to achieve a level of communicative competences C2, according to the common European Mark of reference (MCER).
    - - Know grammar and develop communicative competences in the Catalan language, for the second application to translation
    and interlinguistic mediation, in order to achieve a level of communicative competences C2, according to the common European Mark of reference 
    (MCER).
    - - Know the foundations of the Latin language and classical culture through its various texts, for its application to translation and interlinguistic mediation.
    - - Conéixer and apply currents and methodologies of linguistics in the field of translation and interlinguistic mediation.
    - - Conéixer the currents and methodologies of literary theory and criticism in the field of translation and mediation interlinguistics.
    - - Interrelate different areas of humanistic studies.
    - - Possess and apply general knowledge in humanistic areas related to the field of translation and mediation interlinguistics.
    - - Compare and analyze constituents of one's own language with other languages, for their application to translation interlinguistic mediation.
