
A Bar of Sciences organized by the Department of Science Outreach UCC + i of the University of Valencia, with the participation of the Valencian delegation CSIC, will treat, on Thursday 7 March at 18.30, myths and errors of the Dukan diet with scientists from the academic institution and the CSIC. This gathering begins collaboration with the Hotel Astoria since the session will take place at the Café (Plaza Rodrigo Botet, 5) and will include the cultural program Astoria & Friends.
The purpose of the dialogue is to provide ideas about science and food, while disclosing information to promote rigorous and enjoyable healthy lifestyle, one of the priorities of both the Sustainable Campus of the University of Valencia and the VLC / Campus of Internacional Excellence.
Participants to the Bar of Sciences on the Dukan diet will be Carlos Sanchez, professor of medicine at the University of Valencia and Chief of Endocrinology and Nutrition, Hospital General Universitario, Pascual Sanz, Research Professor at the Institute of Biomedicine of Valencia (CSIC) and Patricia Alos Garcia, Bachelor of Pharmacy and graduated in Human Nutrition and Dietetics.The session will be moderated by journalist Jaime Prats El País.
Upon completion of the Bar of Sciences, Astoria & Friends offer an afterwork session with DJ Al Nandez.
