The Faculty of Chemistry of the University of Valencia celebrates this Friday, from 12:30, the graduation ceremony 2012 in the Auditorium ‘Marie Curie’ of the University of Valencia Science Park. Some of the participants on the ceremony are the Vice-Principal for Studies and Language Policy, Isabel Vázquez; the Dean of the Faculty, Pilar Campins; and Francisco Tomás, University lecturer on Chemistry and Physics and the former Principal of the University, who will give a keynote speech on chemical nanorobots.
Some of the acts scheduled for the ceremony are the presentation of certificates and scholarships to 2012 graduated students; the presentation of certificates to students with better academic results; a congratulation speech on the Degree and Postgraduate Extraordinary Awards; and a congratulation speech on the members of the Faculty that are currently retired and also to those who meet 25 and 35 years of service.
The programme of the graduation ceremony also includes a song performance by the University Choral Society Veni Creator and Gaudeamus Igitur. The memories of the Faculty of Chemistry, 2011/2012 course, will be also read by the Secretary of the center.
