
The principal of the University of Valencia, Esteban Morcillo, inaugurated on Monday the mandatory attendance courses of the training activity conducted by the University of Valencia, through the Interuniversity Institute for Local Development with the Brazilian institution SEBRAE, the Support Management of Small and Micro Brazilian Companies.
The training activity to develop is entitled 'A vision and sustainable territorial development. Methods and tools for institutional action '. The initiative began last July at the University of Valencia. It lated continiued with the technicians from the Brazilian institution with online training from their states in Brazil. In the stage beginning today, they have transfered back to the University of Valencia in person to complete their training in a course organized by the Interuniversity Institute for Local Development (IIDL) of the academic institution.
The course, in addition to theoretical training, involves several institutional visits.
Through the collaboration agreement signed last July, the University of Valencia and SEBRAE collaborate in the exchange of experiences in agribusiness, energy, tourism and support local entrepreneurs.
In this context, the University of Valencia hosts this week residential training course where SEBRAE members participate in a course on institutions and coordination mechanisms for decentralised development. The opening ceremony was attended by the principal of the University of Valencia, Esteban Morcillo, accompanied by Joan del Alcazar, from the IIDL, and Joao Alberto Miranda, SEBRAE representative.
The program includes visits to places associated with the University of Valencia, as the Science Park or the International University of Gandía, conferences and debates.
