Universitat de València participates at the Pint&Science, an annual three days festival simultaneously celebrated at bars all over the world. A space is offered so that people can talk about science with people who perform this work. For the first time, on 18th, 19th and 20th May, Madrid, Barcelona, Zaragoza, Murcia, Valencia, Pamplona, Donostia-San Sebastián and Santiago de Compostela will welcome this initiative.

Science bars are one of the most successful activities which Universitat de València will organise through the Unit chair for Scientific Dissemination since 2004, which goal is to talk about science at a leisure space with researchers, experts in different matters.

The idea started in 2012 thanks to two researchers from the Imperial College following the “Meet the Researchers” event, dealing matters such as with Parkinson and Alzheimer, they gathered the affected people in their labs. Such experience became an inspiration for the following year first Pint&Science, which many famous people attended to in order to explain their work to the lovers of science and beer.

The Pint&Science at Valencia is organised by the Inndea foundation and it will be developed in three sessions which there will be several researchers of prestige, expert in the matter:
